Any alternative to 2k1 Intake manifold...

Hey guys, wondering if there is any alternative to the 2k1 composite intake manifold ? can it be swap for a 2k IM ( I believe 2k IM are mad from alu ) this way I can port & polish the IM before getting boost. I remember someone talking about a company prototyping a better IM for 2k but I dunno what happend, any though.

My IM does not appear to be aluminum...I'm pretty sure it's composite as well.

Oh I tough the 2K was made of aluminum, so that's the 4th gen that is made of alu.
Thanks for your response.

If you're just looking for topend power to simply need more peak flow for FI then you should remove the power valve.

you can put the intake manifold of a 3.5 02-03 on a 01?

This there any benifits? any HP gains, do you have to change everthing else that goes after the intake manifold to match a 3.5?

I'm not shure if the 3.5 IM would fit on a 3.0, anyway I might just slap a V2 and Matt's plate and call it a day. When the winter mood hit me in a month or so I might take a different route but so far it's seem the way I'll be taking. I want a daily drivable car but with more power.

Hey BlackBIRDVQ, I see you have a 2k1 so hopefully the Pathfinder IM would fit right, let me know cuz I might want to try it out over the winter since my car is staying in the garage until next spring.
