Bi-Xenon RS6/TL HID Retrofits

Has anyone done this yet on their 4th gen?
All I've come across are the E46 conversions. Not
really fond of those projectors. Curious to see how difficult it is
to mount the TL or RS6 projectors on stock max housings. Also
the wiring.. I'm aware you can use a relay/diode setup to keep
the low beams on while flashing hi-beams (to trigger bi-xenon solenoids)
but what about Maximas equipped with DRL?

Anyone?

Not very easy. They are quite large and hard to fit in the housing.

beam cutoff.. Helped him modify the projectors with washers, shield bending.. no difference.. Still fairly fuzzy cutoff and little color at a distance. Yes, E46 beam pattern is nice and bright but if I'm going into the trouble of doing a retrofit I want something better.

Valeos are also a nice alternative but have not seen many bi-xenons floating around.

I'm planning on doing my retrofit soon so yeah.. I will try to take pics and do a write up.

My cutoff is extremely sharp and has all kinds of color to it

So has anyone put TL projectors into a stock 97-99 housing?

Ok then, I just wanted to make sure i wasn't embarking on a futile task since I've only found people talking about retroing them, nobody actually saying that they have done it.

F550 has them also JSMexUSA was the first person I had seen with them on a max. I believe if you search hidplanet for his name you may find his install pics. To put it lightly when I saw the pics I was intimindated about doing tls in a max but it can be done. Also TL in cefiros are about to be done by Wed.
TLs to me are the hardest cause of the solenoid, and there is quite a bit of cutting, but if you can do those, you can do almost any other projector in a max.

I notice people are picky about lighting, I'm only running e55 singles but even those are way better than stock. e46, tsx, tl, rs6, they all are way better than what I'm running and I'm attached to my lights.

I am running A6's right now. They are only single xenon though. Plenty for me. I never use the highs anyway.

no i didnt use any jb weld cuz its crap.. dont be ghetto when do headlights.. ihave them bolted to the bottom of the reflector and im using about 5 layers of aluminum foil to cover up the back, then i coated the entire backing of the projector with clear silicone....

as far as the shroud, its a toilet bowl flange that i found at ACE hardware.. its the only thing that will fit..

wow you used silicone? that must have been a mess. do you have the tl projectors? as for sealing the projector im going to use foil tape and then figure what kid of sealer to use. why do you say JB weld is crap? this is what most people are doing to seal the projectors.

Jb weld is a waste of time and money imo for sealing, you will have to use alot depending on the gap between the projector and the back of the light, silicone is cheap and does the trick and God forbid you have to remove the projector for any reason after it dries, it won't be happening without a jackhammer if you use jb weld.
