How would a pinstripe look?

Just an idea I've tossed around the past couple of days

^click the thumbnail to make it larger, didn't feel like resizing

I was thinking a silver color (to match the lip of the rims) and a second red stripe (to match the caliper and the "O" in the Nismo Badging. Or maybe just one of the colors and not both.

It'd look like this:

http://forums.maxima.org/4th-generat...should-go.html

Super old post I made back in the day. Notice the poll results.

PS. Don't vote. Don't resurrect a 4 year old post. I'm just showing you so you know what it looks like and what others think of it.

PPS. It's a pain in the a** to remove!

da black pinstripe on the pearl white max looks hot. Especially with the tint. At least mine does

But on a black max, dont waste your time.

Pinstripes, what is it the 80's still? I agree with everyone else, spend your money on lowering your car first and getting a nice set of wheels.

The wheels get the job done, lower the car or get any other worthwhile mods

Honestly, on a budget... I wouldn't waste a cent on a couple stripes on the sides of my car. Its your car and your money though, so do what you want, thats just my opinion.

Now wait a min guys...

u can 2 tone any car. It jus needs to be done artfully and with some class.

That being sd, a pinstripe WONT look good with every color. Black is jus one of those colors where it jus wont look good. OP wd have to change the whole theme of his car.

I wouldnt go as far as saying black with a pin stripe doesnt look good. My dads M35s has a white pin stripe and it looks really nice. Shows the curves of the car well.

However, on a Max... different story

o yea, i was talkin bout on a max.

Tha only pinstripe on a max i like is the black stripe on white or the beige stipe on forest green. U might be able to get away with black stripe on grey max or red max.

Yea, I couldnt imagine having a white stripe on my black max. The body just isnt curvy enough to make it look good imo
