Slip and abs light is lit permenantly...

This is a repetitive old problem went away a while ago but it still bothers me to have that unanswered... my car stalled and I had to wait 10 min b4 it cranks on but I had an annoying 2 lights that would remain solid and went into limp mode as I drove back home. No CEL light popped up and that makes me more curious.... someboody halp plz!

Well I've had that issue a couple times with my old 5th gen, but it had the cel light on along with slip and abs. Could be your MAF sensor going bad. I also read somewhere a crank position sensor would also give those symptoms.

Have your charging system checked, as the issue usually is related to the alternator on its way out ... possibly a weakened batery ... or even a bad ground somewhere, but from my own experience it turned out to be a bad alternator only putting out 8 volts instead of upwards to 14 volts.

Had a TCS, SLIP & ABS light on sometimes and it turned out to be the ABS sensor

Sounds like your abs wheel sensor. Not all 5th gens have TCS so I'd start there if I were you.

Thanks tomorrow I will put my baby on stilts and check out those abs sensors. I do remember putting a gas welder on the old front lower control arms....maybe I torched it on accident?

had the same exact problem about a month ago, check the codes if there is any
the code that popped up for me was for the bank1 camshaft sensor, but the code only popped up later
i changed the other camshaft sensor & crank sensor anyways since nissan said they are faulty due to ****ty soldering.

you can replace the the camshaft sensors yourself easily if you want, there are a bunch of youtube videos on how to do it
the crank sensor is underneath the car which is a bit hard to get to

note that this is if you have ONLY the TCS & Slip light on,

these lights shouldn't be on once the engine is cold, the lights will re-appear once it stalls again.

How do you know which abs sensor is bad? There are 4 of them.
