2017 Maxima Telematics / Nissan Connect Module
I recently purchased a '17 Maxima Platinum. I really like the ride , but I have encountered a problem with the telematics/Nissan Connect (NC) module, the critical link that enables NC to communicate with the vehicle. The local dealership determined that the unit did fail and installed a new module. The service rep told me that I needed to wait for at least 24 hours before I could register and sync up with the vehicle. Unfortunately, a few days later, the small green led by the SOS button indicator light turned off just like before (it was green when I left the dealership). I am currently working with the NC Support team. Hopefully its just a firmware/software based failure that can be easily corrected. The NC Support rep escalated the case and is in the process of checking out the vehicle from their end before sending me back to the dealership. It seems very strange to have two telematic modules fail within a few weeks. I was wondering if anyone else is having trouble with their 2017 Nissan telematics/NC module?
