Fog lights compatibility

Are fog lights + brackets + relay + stalk compatible across '95-99, or is it 95/96 & 97-99 or some other combination?

It is different from 95-96 and 97-99. I believe the relay is probably the only interchangeable part in either of the fog light kits.

Makes sense based on the 'refreshed' front end of 97-99.
Thanks.

You can use the same relay and the same stalk inside the car but the lights and the brackets are specific to their variant of the a32.

I guess you don't need stalk. I think the fog switch on the stalk just jumps pins 31 to 32 of E113.

and you didn't know the difference? rear tail lights are different from a 95-96 as apposed to a 97-99 as well as the front and rear bumpers and grilles.

Well definitely 95/96 and 97-99 have different parts numbers, but I wonder if they still could be cross compatible regardless, like if the new parts were improved design but not incompatible design.
