Struggling w/ Upper Oil Pan Install!! Help!!

Hi Guys,

Trying to put back the upper oil pan and I am unable to push the oil pan past one of the studs on the cylinder block? Any suggestion as to how I can make this easier?

I would really hate to struggle with this one I get the RTV on it.

I just had to do mine, twice, long story. I used a small dead blow hammer to carefully tap the pan back on. You kind of have to work your way around it so it doesn't bind.

I've done several and never had an issue. You got your X-member and exhaust y-pipe removed? This should be a straight shot. A rubber mallet and a piece of wood is the safest route. Stay straight, even and level and it should set into place.
