Humming sound under 18’ Maxima near driver side door

About 3 nights ago, i went over a pot hole at about 30 MPH, i heard a small bang. I got out of my car and i hear a humming sound under the driver side door. It sounds like air escaping a tire almost. The tires are fine and Max is driving like normal, everything feels the same but the humming sound is still there. As soon as i turn on the car it comes on and as soon as i turn off the car, it stops. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? It sounds like it’d be under where the driver seat would be but under the car.

Conjecture without pictures. Best to get this on a lift to see what happened. It could be the plastic rocker panel running between the wheels (Not rims) that dislodged. Report back what you learn. Good luck.

That small bang you heard was not a pothole...it was my trash can.

The humming noise is the sound of you dragging around my trash can lid.

Bring it back please...and don't drive on the sidewalk again.

Too funny, but to the OP.

Based solely on your description of it occuring as soon as you turn it on and going away when you turn it off, i would say you developed an exhaust leak. You are going to have to get it up on jackstands regardless. Please do let us know what you find and forgive our attempts at humor. It isnt personal!

You left the driver seat ventilation on. See if the little **** in the middle console has a tiny LED light on.

not likely since he’s hearing it outdoors. Good tip nonetheless, since I too didn’t know those seats were so noisy when first got it
