Hey everyone, just upgraded my max to a 21 platinum from an 18 sv. My 18 didn't have the intelligent cruise control, just the basic. So with the ICC, can the maxima come to a complete stop? Like in heavy traffic? I read the manual and it seems it can, but in my wife's honda passport it automatically shuts off at 40mph or less (really annoying). I've yet to try out some of the features of the platinum as I haven't really driven it much yet, but the intelligent cruise I'm excited to use.

My 17SR has the radar CC, and I used it going from Atlanta to Tampa on a rainy day. The journey, normally around 6 hours was 11 hours long I used the CC most of the way and it brings the car to a halt and starts it back up! It warned me that it stopped working at one point when the rain was really poring down (the old Florida Gully Washer), but that was the only occurrence! It was the first time I tried it and I was impressed!

 

Steptide, my 2018 Max Platinum will bring the car to a complete stop while using ICC.

 

My 2019 Platinum ICC is a mixed bag, being a little "herky Jerky" on heavier traffic. What I do like is that you can also engage the cruise control without the ICC mode on. when the rain is heavy the ICC does go off line now and then.

once it comes to a stop,2 seconds later the icc turns off,you have to pull out and press resume

 

Another random question. Does the 21 maximas NOT have HD radio? I can't seem to find it in the head unit and came up short searching Google.
