FastBrakes 12.3 Rear BBK - parking brake issue

Pretty niche question but i figured id ask. Im installing the rear BBK kit made by fastbrakes and ive run into a snag with my parking brake cables. The caliper is relocated further away so the cables no longer are able to reach. I assumed id get enough length by loosening the cable from inside the cabin but this still doesnt give enough. Heres a pic for reference:

Kit did not come with any instructions and all I can find when searching is references to the parking brake being “the hardest part of the swap” without any mention of what needed to be done. Off the top of my head, the only thing I can imagine doing is disconnecting the 2 rear cables from where their brackets bolt up, and “cutting the corners” to reroute them as to where they terminate that extra inch or two further back as needed - then drilling/tapping new holes as needed for the brackets to bolt up in positions a couple of inches further back. Figured i would ask first before doing something like that because that is going to be a pretty big PITA.

Open to any and all suggestions!

I have the same kit installed on my 02. I just checked back on the thread I started when I did the swap and I unbolted the cable brackets on the trailing arm than put them back on. I do remember them not going on as easy as when stock.

Awesome, I must have missed that thread. Gonna go ahead and give that a shot when I get home from work.

I was surprised to see that the caliper bracket was marked as 240SX rear...
