its most likely the IAC valve....the little thin wire that comes from just under the throttle body...it has 3 valves i believe....just get the hose from there and plug it into the upper pieces ....should have a slot for it....probably jut a long thin metal piece that sticks outs....just slide it onto there

there should have only been 3 hoses involved, there is one hose that acts more as a breather and doesnt connect to anything

I believe that hose your talking about is your transmission breather hose which just hangs there next to the crankcase breather hose. I would check to see if all hoses and sensors are pluged in all the way and also resetting the ECU might help. When you took off your stock intake, did you check to see if your throttle body was dirty or not?

The vent hose you are mentioning is for the tranny and will not cause the car to act the way described. It seems to me that the big vaccum hose towards the rear firewall is more likely the culprit. It is a big vaccum hose that goes connected to one of the pre-made tubes on the upper CAI tube near the TB. It goes connected to a controller behind the TB. If this comes loose or is kinked, the car will not idle and die everytime. When I installed my PR CAI, it did not reach properly and I MADE IT fit and one day it just popped loose. My car died at every stop light on the way home. I replaced that hose only with a longer one (pain because I just went to the auto parts and started trying on different hoses from the wall until one fit correctly) and the car never died again.

I had the stalling problem when I installed my CAI.
I kept rechecking all the hoses and everything, but the problem persisted. The next day I checked again and realized that there was a sensor that plugged into the underside of the pipe that didn't see and had forgotten. Once I plugged it in the problem went away.
