Zex vs Nitrous Express

I have been reading different posts about nitrous. I found a lot of info about nitrous express and NOS but very little about Zex. So far it sounds like NX is the way to go. Any opinions on the zex setup. I most likely will go for a wet setup and start with a small shot like 50 maybe a 75.

I've got a Zex Wet Kit 75 Shot. One of the easiest to install. Everything is built into the Nitrous Management Unit. 3 Wires.....Ground/Switch/Throttle Position Sensor. I like my kit alot, but I can't speak for the others around. Just do me 1 thing and don't get the Purge Light.

i also have a ZEX wet kit with the 75 jets in. It was very easy to install, even though i was a total nitrous newbie at the time. its been very safe, reliable, and easy.

I have a Zex dry kit with a 75 shot.
All I did was upgrade my fuel pump, put in a FPR and some colder step NGK Coppers I never had any problems.
I've done lots of mods after this, but that was all I ran for a while and didn't have any problems.

You would tap into the TPS wire that goes to the ecu i am pretty sure. You will have to get a ECU diagram since alot of the wires are the same color

They are all basically the same when it comes to install. Pretty easy process, I have installed a NOS kit a couple of times, NX 3 or 4 times and one Zex kit.

My preference is still NX because they created the wet system, now everyone else is copying their design when before they all said it would give nitrous backfire etc because of fuel puddling, now they are ok according to the competition.

Plus NX is the only company to give a 100% lifetime warranty on the solenoids, plus they will rebuild them every year for free as well, all you have to do is pay shipping.

Jime- well my buddy bought a used NX kit from a local org.er but sad to say that certain someone did something to the soleniod ( I think burn out the magnets?) to where it just click. Something that we found out afterwards and NX won't warranty it but its kinad my buddys fault for assuming it works. Other than that NX will cover a rebuild thay say. So now he got a ZEX kit and a broken NX kit lol.

Thanks guys, I was assuming of the ecu just cuz that where my SAFC is tapped at. Is it the same location/color wire as a 4th gen?
Also when do you know you need a rebuild on the solenoids?

No one will warranty the coils because you can burn them out very easily by having them on for any longer than 20 secs. However they are very sturdy and I have never had that happen. It usually occurs when guys are testing without nitrous or fuel pressure on and they forget that its energized. Also the coil is a lot cheaper than the valve body which is warrantied.
