Remote bottle opener...
How long does it take for a remote opener to function? Anyone know? I'm planning out a 'lol' gas upgrade for the middle of the summer, and would like to hook this up with a two trigger setup. Around 80% throttle the bottle opens...and at 100% throttle it sprays.
The more I read, the more I am leaning towards a 50-65 shot wet kit.
Also...anyone found a really great hiding spot for a 10lb bottle in a 4th gen?

Why do you need this "two-trigger" setup? Just open the bottle beforehand, drive, and when you go WOT (i.e. 100% throttle), the nitrous will spray.
Anyway, to answer your original question. There are two types of remote bottle openers.
1) First type is one where is it basically a big solenoid attached to your bottle. The bottle valve is always open and you basically open and close the bottle opener solenoid with the flip of a switch. I have this kind. Once the solenoid is open, the nitrous will instantly fill the line.
2) The second type of remote bottle opener literally opens and closes the bottle valve. I don't know how fast this works.

If you're serious about spray, you'll install a bottle heater and pressure-switch combination, so you keep the pressure up and the nitrous/fuel ratio correct.
You can't do that with a remote opener - the bottle has to be open to the pressure switch when the heater is on. Cold bottle pressure can be 600 psi - heated bottle holds 1100-1150 psi. Much more power.....
I hear you can drive around all day (
) with a hot bottle locked and loaded. Just turn off the heater and close the valve and purge the system when the car is parked.
Dual-NX system.
