Once......

Seriously, research this on suppliers' web sites. To run higher shots, you need to pull timing, not add timing.

I think if hes only advanced to 17 degreese and only running a 75 shot he could do it but he'd be safer with a wet kit. Anything above 75 i'd go back to stok 15 degreese since your a 5th gen.

timing advance+nitrous=not good. dont even attempt even if others say its safe. just not worth risking. use 2 step colder plugs, leave stock timing.

ok im not going to advance timing at all

so if im going to leave stock timing then use a 2 step colder plug (where can I get these and do you have a brand and model 3?)

If I retard timing do I use a 1 step colder plug?

Also as a daily driver car that im not going to using the zex all day long what do you think the best set up would be for running a 75hp shot

which plugs do you think would be best and what timing?

To run a 75-shot when the mood strikes you, I would:

1. Be sure you have premium gas in the tank.

2. Leave timing stock.

3. Use 1-step colder NGK copper plugs - any parts store can verify P/N. Cheap=$1.50 each. 2-step colder are better, not essential for 75-shot.

4. Replace fuel filter, air filter.

When you want to go beyond 75-shot, be prepared to buy more stuff. Lots more. Check my sig.

The key to engine survival is to NOT have pre-ignition or detonation. Fuel, timing, plugs are parts of the equation. Done correctly, with a NX wet kit, nitrous is very reliable and powerful. Otherwise, replacement engines are cheap and easy to find.

Base timing does NOT affect WOT.
