What are the copper pipes? The plastic tube is the passenger front sunroof drain tube.

Have no clue. The copper piping is interesting, so I'm curious to know myself.

If I were, I wouldn't have started this thread.

Rochester = Realist, maybe.

all 3 are 02 sensors, 1 before precat 1 after precat. the third goes to other bank before precat. The fourth one near the firewall goes after precat.

Nope, I have bought a few of them and none of them came with it. Just don't park over tall grass, i have seen a car burn up because of that.

Anyone know what the black, grounded wire is that is on top of the transmission. This is directly below the intake. Mine appears to have melted, and the car will not start. I am getting random spikes in RPM as well for some odd reason.

This is on a 2000. The first picture is tilted incorrectly. Basically these are looking from the front of the car into the engine bay. The starter is on the left.

I believe that ground wire is supposed to attach to the bigger wire that connects to the starter.

That would make sense as it burnt off, and not the car wont turn over at all. I will have to do some more digging.

Haha I was waiting for someone to say that!

Yeah these winters up here make us realize how much we HATE the snow, with all the sand and salt it brings. Luckily we all have the DD for a reason, to take all the abuse.

Believe me, the Z sees no in-climate weather for this exact reason..

I believe that's the secondary O2 sensor connector. Maybe try following it and seeing if it does indeed connect into the exhaust stream somewhere.

Mine is an 03 (Cali Spec, all)
