Parts from Rockauto arrived, got the manual trans mounts ready for the ES bushings , and picked up a different glove box from the local pick-n-pull.

Yuck, looks like it's time for VC gaskets and tube seals to keep the oil off the plugs. This would have been a perfect time to do it.
Yeah, that alternator is a pain with the AC compressor in the way. It's always tempting to leave the compressor in and try to work around to it but in the end it always has to come out.
I think "clean windshield" needs to be added to the list.

Guess I am the only one working on Maximas - Installed KYB GR-2 stuts with new boots and Moog bearing plates. The driver's side was so bad that it barely would decompress by itself. The passenger side was not much better.

Today I installed a nylatron steering column bushing into my car. The install itself had a few parts that were massive pains in the butt, worst of which was removing and reinstalling the sleeve around the steering column inside the car. I ended up cutting it into 2 pieces and zip tying it back together, as I just couldn't get it positioned properly back into place after replacing the bushing.
There was one part where a second set of hands would have been great. It was pretty tricky to get the rear mounts for the steering column lined back up once the bushing was in place, it took a lot of grunting and swearing to do it by myself.
The finished result is sublime, I've been driving this car new since fall of 2002, and the steering response is so much more precise it truly feels like a different car. So far well worth a few hours of swearing, knuckle scraping and back wrenching. I have a lot of suspension mods already, (including sub frame connectors, lower tie bar II, subframe collars, illuminas, front and rear strut tower bar, rear sway bar, all 4 full poly motor mounts) and it feels like this is a central piece to the precision of the car. All that remains suspension wise is to replace the rear trailing arm bushings and install a QT link into the Scott Russel Link, and my car is fully transformed suspension wise. I intend to purchase a catch can and then get tuned (I have intake/exhaust/headers/block off plate/spacers/NWP throttle body/test pipe/3 inch exhaust) and that will finally complete my 13 year modding journey on this car.

Today I took a joyride in my Max. Finally got everything back together and working properly again. Investing some time into researching new cooling methods for the sake of surviving the occasional slower summer driving with a massive heatsources right next to my radiator.

Got all the ES bushings pressed in to the lower control arms/mounts and motor mounts along with new ball joints so it can go back together. Also picked up a piece of stainless steel angle iron to reenforce the crusty radiator support.
Got some help with the bolt I twisted off as I removed the driver's side front ABS sensor and ordered a replacement for it.

I would like to learn more about what you did.
I have the Stillen Front Tower Bar (FTB) and Rear Sway Bar (RSB) on my car. The RSB helped a LOT, but the impact of the FTB was less noticeable. The RSB did level the car, and it made handling so much better on smooth surfaces; the trade-off (an acceptable one to me) is some axle float on bumpy roads.
What improvements would give me the biggest bang or the buck next? I have been thinking about the subframe collar; now, reading your post this nylatron bushing is quite interesting to me.
Appreciate all/any comments and suggestions.
