Sard FPR install

Yes, Im a retard as Delio and Thomas can attest to hehee...

I attempted the install last night, but the damn screws on the oem fpr are #$%@!@# that didnt want to come off... eventually, i ended up stripping the threads on the side by the intake runners, and stripping the threads.. I ended up drilling the sob out. That's as far as I got in 4 hrs lol....

So after I get off work today, it's off to the 2nd gay little screw thats UNDERNEATH the oem fpr.. Delio reccomended an impact screwdriver, looks like I'll go get one if it cuts my install time by some lol...

You guys know what size screws the ones are that hold the fpr to the fuel rail?... Also, I cant tell yet, but I may have stripped the threads inside, on that flange for the fuel rail; if that is the case, can i just get a smaller bolt size and a locknut and put the sard flange and fuel rail flange together?... I hope Im making sense... Anyhoo, I'm off to work, let me know what you guys think!

would I actually need a new fuel rail if i stripped the threads?... what about that smaller bolt/locknut idea?.. would it leak?... I have some sealant I could probably put there too...

almost everyone strips the bottom screw, the threads are probably fine. take the t/b off and use one of those craftsman screw outs.

find a replacement screw at a hardware store or I think the fuel injector screws are the same thread/pitch, just a little different in length.

whew....... confused is right, the injector screw is the correct size.

I got that all taken care of, and then snapped one of the t fittings for the vacuum lines.... Then I tapped into the strut tower to mount the fpr... and dropped the 2 self tapping screws that i paid 50 cents for.. they're sumwhere in the liner hehe..

So.. I'll hookup fuel lines tomorrow, when I can actually see...

Ok, everything is hooked up, but I did something wrong...

I connected the fmu hose that comes out of the side of the fmu itself to the inlet for the fpr, and the outlet hose of the fpr, to the fitting for the fuel rail.....

Gas is leaking/spraying all over the left side of the bay, what did I do wrong?..

you didn't tighten something.
find out exactly where its leaking from and fix it. did you use teflon paste on npt fittings? tighten all hose clamps?

I'm not sure if you're getting the "outlet" / "inlet" terms mixed around but...

Shouldn't the flow be from Fuel Rail to FPR then to FMU then tank????
