need help installing belt

hows it going guys, im kinda stuck ... are u supposed to move the pulley on the s/c itself and install the belt or do you remove the plate then slide the belt into place. This kit is so frustrating, the vortec on my friends camaro was so much easier. Thanks!

the belt is supposed to be on the pulley before you mount the plate.

take off the plate with the allen keys. use loctite. and place the belt correctly, if not , you will have to do it again. see how the belt flows through the the plate. good luck

the s/c is suppose to come off the plate then you put the belt. if the
s/c is on the car you have to remove it first. and yeh it is frustrating,
my boy was just telling me something about jackson racing s/c, that all you have to do is turn a screw to get the belt off. good luck.
