I use the #4060690 with my 3.125"....its alittle pain to get around the pulley, but once its on, its still needs tightening so its fine

i just finished rebuilding my tranny, i got my parts from maximum tuning, i got vb mod stage 2 torque convertor with a 3500rpm stall and a graphite clutch kit, when i put my 2.87 pulley on it was like night and day, the belt was real tight though i had to spin the crank to get the belt to fit. but thats better than loose

my stock tranny lasted 1000 or less miles on the 2.87

What pulley did you have before the 2.87? Also how much did the tranny parts cost?

Sounds like you got belt slippage you should be making more than 11psi. I am making 9.5psi with 2.87 intercooled which is a 4 psi loss!--I'm working on my piping design!
