(NEW) TUNING deatchewerks 555 installed!!!

just finfished installing the 555's. The car doesn't have the emanage in yet, but will soon. So I was wondering after installing them if the car would run? So I started it up and it sat at about 1200-1500 rpm and the fpsi was 40psi and it was extremely rich. Anyways can't wait to tune and see the difference!

Sweet! Didn't know you pick up a set. I will have the DW 550's as soon as I get my ECU back from JWT. They gave me hella **** about not using their NISMO injectors.

Now I just need to get the damn motor swapped and get all the crap installed so the car doesnt feel like a turd anymore.

I won't be there. Much too long of a drive to just stand around and look at cars. My car won't be running then anyways.

Never Mind, I have come and gone.

I made 309 hp@5500 and 287ft/lb. Dan couldn't tune any further because the ecu was putting out 35 degrees advance. He also didn't want to run the emanage timing harness because he has been having problems with the computer relearning and putting the timing back in, so i need an 96 5spd ecu ASAP!

Yes S/C with 2.62 intercooled as soon as I get my 95-96 ECU, which I just found one, I'm sending it to be flashed and then going back for the tune, I was pulling 34degrees of advance which the emanage can adjust for but the ECU appearantly can relearn and then put the timing back in so I am getting a reflash and then cleaning up the rest of the map with the emanage. (actually Dan @ Godspeed is doing it).

He said to expect 380hp possibly more! I am super excited.

Oh and at 5500rpm the A32 maf was at 4.5v so Its just about maxed. Also I asked about the boost verse air metered and the reply was "do you drive your car in the winter?" I said no. He said" then don't worry about about the 40 degree difference, it's very minor."

These guys are awesome, the amount of knowlege they have is very impressive and their work so far is top notch. Dan is very careful and will only tune what is safe and there level of quality control is exceptional- in my opinion!

The tune so far was only 300. And he said it would probly only be another hour with the ecu once its in.
