MAF questions????

Has anyone had a Maf go out on a 5th gen? I am wondering what the symptoms are? My car started idleing crazy today. Than at a red light i could acclerated past 2500 rpms sounded like it kept hitting rev limit. Then I turned the car off and it ran partially fine when i restarted. I went to a friends house and ut it on his reader and it pulled a maf code. Anyone ever seen this act like that?

That's exactly what happens when your maf goes bad or becomes disconnected. It's very common on 5th gens I believe.
