Its like steath mode since I painted it ...the exhaust note is really nice man, like alot better than I thought. The car feels alot linear now, like the car doesnt have to struggle to go cause its breathing more. I dont think thats just in my head

Wierd Sound

Well I went back to get a new hanger installed back by the muffler cause the entire rear section was way to loose.

Ive driven about 100 miles with the exhaust now and Im getting a weird vibration sound coming from the rear section, almost like the muffler. It only started this morning. Its a vibration sound that goes right away after 2200 rpms and Its not something thats loose...

It happens really bad when its cold, and its not as bad when it warms up. It happens past the same RPM every time I past 2100-2200 RPM's.

Could the culrit be the muffler ?? its definetly not right, there is definetly something wrong. Its a Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler.

Any Ideas ??

Weird - I got the exact same sound from my Dynomax.

It went away after about 2000 miles.

By the way - whatk ind of tip did you end up puttingo n that Dynomax??

I have a Magnaflow Resonated tip and I'm not liking the looks of it so much now - not to mention that they welded it onto the muffler too far in and now my exhaust doesn't stick out far enough - my bumper is starting to turn brown.

So I gotta replace mine - what did you use?

Its almost like a vibrating sound...Could it be the Y-pipe not having a lined flex section ? Its alot different then "Beez in the can sound"...the sound I'm getting is almost like a buzzzing... I thought that Warpspeed was putting lined flex sections in all their Y-pipes now.

I went with the Hooker...

http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...=egnsearch.asp

I really wanted a 4" outlet with a straight cut, rolled edge but coundnt get my hands on one. The closest one I found was this..But it was too much of a wait.

The thing I really like is the exhaust shop put the muffler kind of high so you cant really see it and put the tip on a very slight angle down. So I recently painted the entire exhaust black and did the muffler so all you see is a tip...

I hope the Buzzing goes away.

Which muffler did you use? The 3" center inlet / 3" center outlet one?

Do they even make any other sizes that have center inlet/outlets?
