wait, so if I only ordered those few select parts from you, wouldn't you be left with an incomplete kit for someone else then? how would this work matty?

You had to have let me know, thats why I kept PMing you telling you to find out what you need, find out what you need. You will have to wait till I do another run for you to get any type of "peices of a kit".

PM me, we'll work something out

well I just meant I didn't want to buy parts of a kit and leave you with misc. parts that you couldn't sell or buy parts of a kit and leave someone who needs the entire kit without one...making them wait another production run...

I picked this up off of ebay. It was recently rebuilt, the buyer told me that it was rebuilt November 05' and when I got to my house, it still has the marker hatch on the blower fins, a comman thing they do when they rebuilt the blowers at Vortech. This Blower has 300 miles on the rebuild.

This is perfect for someone that already bought a kit or wants to get on the second list and be ahead with having a blower ready to install. A blower rebuild from Vortech runs $326+shipping both ways.

$1100 + Shipping

A blower from Ebay will run anywhere from $500-$700. So buy that and rebuild it, and you are right there. PM me if your really interested in it. I can give you a deal on it when you pay the remaining balance.

I didn't mean to be cheap bastard
I didn't think about rebuilding it. I was thinking just get the blower that's on the ebay, and use it until it needs the rebuild

after all, I bought matty's plate

I got my V2 off ebay and even though the seller claimed it had less than 1000 miles of use on it, I'm already leaking almost a quart of oil every 3k miles (mostly from under the bottom of the supercharger) and it's starting to produce a V1-like whistling. I should have rebuilt it before I put it in, but I'm a rather impatient person.

Its stories like that, that make me want to just buy a brand new one or at least get a vortech rebuild.

Post #1 and #118. Anyone wanting a starter kit, contact me about being added to the list.

**Deposit of $300 is due up front, then the remaining amount will be owed in 3 to 4 weeks when the kits are finished.**

This gives time to people to start building kits; sourcing blowers, charge pipes (ebay), and other fuel items.

As of right now, I only know ebay as a source for blowers. The one that I still have is still for sale. If someone puts money up for it, then its theres. The person that wants it, hasnt put any money on it yet, just verbal.

The T-Trim is supperior to anything, and a V2 Cant be upgraded to the T-Trim, only a V1 blower has the option to upgrade to the T-Trim

The one I have is a V1 S-Trim. Leaves the option to upgrade in the future if you want.

I am going to go with a v1 instead of a v2. That's why I am looking for one on ebay so I can send it to vortech to do a t trim upgrade.

I have looked all over, and I still find blowers counterclockwise direction. can anyone tell me which one i'm supposed to get, and does the direction of blower matter? sorry, i am a newbie to SC. and I'll still be asking questions as me and my brother are both SC'ing our cars with matty's starter kits.

at 125,000 miles, i think my engine is past its boosted days. i was wondering if any of you guys know of a reputable VQ engine rebuilder in S California, or a place that sells rebuilt VQ engines. i know this is slightly off topic, but for me, a rebuilt engine is gonna be just as necessary a part of this kit as the kit itself, at least if i'm gonna hit 10psi.

Let me know..I should be getting a run together pretty soon for about 5-6 kits. A down payment will put your name on one for sure.

Just do a compression check on the motor and see where you are at. When I boosted, I was at 126,000. No problems on the motor at all because I checked before I went through with it. Check it and post up in the 4th gen forum. People will give you feedback im sure.

you pay the deposit first, he'll reserve a kit for you, but you won't get your kit shipped till you pay the whole thing off. I think 2 months will be just about right because he's going to need time to put together some kits, then he'll prolly give you your 3-4 weeks grace period to pay up after the dib.
