Changing SC pulley??

How do I change the pulley on a SC? Want to take out the stock pulley and put in a 3.125, how do I do it. The SC is already out, so how do I get the pulley off the SC?

You'll need a pulley puller to get the current pulley off the spindle.

They kinda get frozen on there. Sometimes you can just pull them off, sometimes not. Youll need a pulley pulley or just a screw driver wedged in between the pulley and the blower, but be gentle.

Take it off. Impact wrench, or get one of those Sears Oil wrenches, the rubber ones, and go the other way on the pulley with it as you loosen the bolt.

To unloosen the screw you will need an socket (14mm) to hold the impeller side so the pulley will not freely spin while you try to loosen it. If you try to use a screw driver you will probably ruin the pulley. Go to sears and get the pulley puller, I was a initial skeptic but damn its worth it. Its like try to spread peanut butter with your finger or a knife. A little bit of wd-40 always helps to loosen things up.
