Talked to PFI today

Just a FYI, PFI is still making turbo kits for maxima's. there are built to order full kits only and I was told the turn around time is about 1-2 weeks, they are no longer using t3/t4 turbo's the gt35has taking it's place

this part sucks cause I only wanted the charge and down pipe

the guy I talked to said he my register on the org to clear up a few things and answer some questions? If you have any questions before then this is there info
website address: www.pfispeed.com
# is 970 377 2216
and the kit is $5500.00

I spoke to them in the summer, they offered to sell me the feed pipe for $600. Try to find someone who has the kit, and ask them to call Pfi, and tell them that he needs to replace his old pipe cause of damage...

Here is another option. You can get A used Y pipe from the classified or from Warpspeed. Goto A muffler shop and have them do A reverse Y pipe. And get the flanges from A turbo vendor. All that should run you $300-$500. Make sure they do mandrel bends.

I would imagine a reputable company would keep copies of the receipts and/or have a database of all customers the kit has been sold to.

I would like to think that everyone keeps receipts for things like this..... and would pass them along to the new owner so that any warranty/rights can be honored at a later date if need be. The same goes for the buyer. I would like to think that a buyer would insist of having receipts for major items at the time the modified car is purchased. Then a simple phone call/fax can clear up any confusion. Maybe that's just me.

On a side note, some companies do not transfer warranty/rights when the car/item is sold.

Back to the topic at hand...........

Thats pretty much what I sold the one I made for.

Good luck with finding a shop with a mandrel bender, if they do have one it will take some time for them to make one, which will drive up the price. Not every shop can afford a mandrel bender, and most places that seem to have them specialize in mandrel bending. With that said most mandrel bent applications are worth making if it is being done in bulk.

If your just looking to get a feed pipe crush bent piping will work just fine. If your persistant on getting mandrel bends, expect the pipe to be more

More cutting + more welding= more money.

Though I may have a solution within the next few months.

thats probally just you. also not every1 buys a used car from the old owner. maybe it was a trade in and you bought it from a dealer or saw the car at auction. also people used to buy and sell pfi kits on here all the time without including reciepts and what not.

I had my feed, down and 3 in exhaust made by a local exhaust shop. I supplied them with $150 ish worth of mandrel piping (including an $80 oval section) they only charged me $750 for making the pipes (forward-y feedpipe) and tapping my oil pan. So if you can source a local shop than is willing to do it, go that route but if not then PFI is a nice but expensive alternative. Gotta pay to play ya know...

I should be making more, that is if everything falls into place. This wouldn't be until next year maybe mid feburary. I will also be buying a powder coating machine, and would be able to do a whole kit well charge pipes, feed pipe, and intake to compressor inlet. The pricing could be the same, I'm not sure yet.
