I only used 2 bolts to hold it down right now.
That is the hole for the return line.
I still need to do the oil lines, I need more zip ties to do so. I need to get some T-fittings but this will do for now.

any dyno numbers yet?! come on, you laggin son! lol
btw, if possible, try and have your welder guy weld a bead around the ends of the pipes (if possible). Reason I say this is because from experience, you couplers will slide off the pipe during boost, just like it happend to me last night at 15psi, scariest thing ever lol, followed by pipe being dragged on the ground lol.

Banged it up more.
SFC's should protect the charge pipes.
The rear pipe is above the trailing arm and rear of the SFC's now. It might not look it in the pic.
Clearance is not bad besides that sagging pipe in the front.
The pipes on the SFC can't move so they should never come out. But that connection that is sagging, I will def try to get a bead welded there and the pipe that crosses over near the rad/tranny. I can see those coming loose.
I can't run the oil lines until I get the pipe that goes from the turbo to the left side of the car so I will do all that when the car is on the lift.

you know kevlo this car of yours started out with an automatic tranny, a tan interior and Naturally aspirated....if there is anyone who has pretty much touched every square inch of their car...its you.
Nice Job!

good job man, everything is looking better than mine. Well being the first person to try this on our car, it can explain why mine isnt as "pretty" lol as yours. eventually I will upgrade my piping and design. btw, is that 2" piping for charge pipe? looks rather big.

It is 2in pipe.
So there is a tropical storm that is about to hit me later tonight so I will be drenched in rain prob till tues. So I dunno when I will have it running. Nissan has still not told me where my Nismo FPR is and I need to find a 2.5 to 2in reducer

when I order from them, I get it in like 2-3days so it should show around the same time the storm is passing
or for a temp fix go to a muffler shop and have them expand a 2inch pipe to 2.5 on the other end and use 2 couplers till you find a silcone reducer

There is rubber specialty store an hour away that a performance shop told me to call. They will likely have it so I should be set for that. If not I will figure something out.
Today, I modded a oil cap for my return line. It is not permanent(yet?) I would ideally like to tap the oil pan but not right now. I also put in the 5psi spring into the wastegate. 9psi spring will prob go in next month.

w00h00 kevlo! Yea man you can actually get rid of that coupler in the middle of the 2 sagging pipes at the front. I think that's one of the points I had to cut for shipping. Use the coupler for now to get it running but do eliminate as many couplers as you can (but dont go too crazy, keep in mind eventually you do have to remove the piping for any reason, good luck with no couplers LOL).
Have fun man looking great!

Okay so no one has a 2 -> 2.5in coupler/reducer. So I am gonna do this:
Since I need to get the pipe made local that goes from the turbo to the left side of the car, I will get it made in 2.25in piping. The local exhaust guy has a pressure bender so that will help since the rest of the piping is 2in mandrel bend.
So I know you can "stretch" the ends of the pipe so I will get him to stretch it to 2.5in at the end that goes to the turbo and I will put a 2.5in hose and double couplers on each side(turbo and pipe sides)
Then I will leave the other side 2.25in and squeeze it into my 2in coupler.
I am pretty sure that will work for a week or so till I can get a real 2.5in coupler and t-clamps.

Welder says he doesn't want to weld today since it is still raining FTL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So maybe later today or tomorrow.
UGH, I bought some 7/32 vac hose lol but it is too big. The correct size is 3/16 right?

I know for my de-k I used 5/32, tiny bit smaller than 3/16....

I thought it was already mentioned earlier in the thread....

Ptatohed and I bought all of our silicone couplers and T-clamps here. If you call on the phone and place a big order, he even knocks off 10% and the shipping gets reduced drastically to something reasonable. What gets computed for shipping on his website is ridiculous.

I meant local
So the car runs. No boost gauge cuz the seller is ****ing god damn slow. I bought a sunpro gauge for now from auto store. I had my afr guage and it is super rich mid range and in the 11's top end. Car is real slow until 4k or so. BOV and wastegate work.
I still need to cut the ends of the zip ties lol. Used like 20 lol
I still need to put on the metal maf adapter(gotta drill new holes)
I can do that tomorrow.
Problems:
Bunch of black **** is on my bumper/trunk now
Turbo started to blow smoke out the exhaust at idle. I have a .047 jet in there. Dunno if it is cuz it is "new" or not.
Didn't take many pics. But I will post the few in a bit

so how does it feel in relation to before you started? You say it's real slow til 4k, slower than it was before you started? All this build up and you didn't even say if it was a beast!

Slower than before before 4k
No 3" maf timing, mad rich so cant expect to be w/o tuning.
It is prob only at 2-3 psi lol so not much till tomorrow. I will up it to like 5-6psi. Then the party will begin
Lemme find the vid cam for tomorrow night
