well, I wouldn't say so. I am still using the same MAF from when I first SCed the car 2+ years ago. However I must have put only about 10-15k on the car boosted. I dont drive it alot but when I do its WOT from the time it comes out of my driveway to the time it returns.
I do have an issue where the car wont rev past 2600 if I start it up once. When it does that I just shut it off and restart it and it works fine. Any suggestions?
It was, I used a forza/obx 3in inlet muffler. It sounds good, a little raspy in the begining but once it warms up the tone gets better ant the rasp goes away.

^ not too sure about the performance meet yet, I have a $1000 run on Sunday night and don't want to break on saturday for freem lol
The muffler is a bit raspy like you said, esp. on deceleration, may look into other options but its there getting the job done I guess, lol.

on this setup, I am seeing about the same fuel pressure and the AFR is in the 10s, I will need to either go to a smaller disc or take away fuel with the afc. I was worried that the FMU would not bump pressure quick enough but a little adding of points helped. Its working for now. Eventually I want to go with 440s and like a 3:1 disc. I like the FMU because its kind of fool proof so to speak. When I up the boost I know I will need to step up the game in the fuel dep't.
I am looking into going standalone, but not putting out any more $$ for this year. Just doing free stuff now (weight reduction).
What FMU were you using? And what injectors? 440s usually run rich, my freind has them on his turbo 5th gen and he is pig rich with like a 2:1 disc and EU. Don't know if he ever finished tuning the car. He's pretty busy.
Something about 440s at 60psi not running rich is strange, how much boost were u running? Or were you spraying?

really....idk, last year when I had regular DEK injectors squezing around 400 to the wheels after I tuned with meth I was reaching about 97psi under full boost with AFR in the 10s before the tune, then I put in a smaller disc and kept tuning the AFC and was seeing 87ish psi, but that was still too high for my liking but it worked and my AFRs were in the low 11s then I got the rev-ups and didnt really get a chance to retune

Right now after reading your post, i realized that I needed to hook up vacumm/boost to the regulator so it could raise with boost, I realise that its the best way to go. Went for a drive right now and its in the high 10's now, some parts it dips in the 9's which iv already corrected. This is without the meth, i loaded up a conservative timing map, and wanted to check the a/f with no meth.

Well I dont have an FMU, just a normal 1:1 AFPR (but did not have vacum/boost line hooked up to it because I wanted to have a more constant fuel pressure (since boost fluctuates, fuel pressure will as well if its hooked up), im at 15psi right now, and been testing out 20psi the last few days.

Yea, now i gotta retune completely lol, hooked up the meth, regapped plugs to something smaller, turned on the meth, and a/f dipped into the 9's and started missfiring. at least now i have plenty of fuel with 1:1 rising rate.
