So I got under the car and I'll going with a 3inch dp into 3inch oval under the tranny into a 3inch exhaust no cat, cutout or resonator, muffler only. I will flange the exhaust so I can drop everything between the downpipe and axle back for the track

btw my ecu was shipped out today by jwt, now I just need to do a anti snow dance so I can finish the piping

Sweet Tom.. All these turboed maxima's in Philly now .....

Just a crazy idea Jeeve had a idea of rerouting downpipe out the fender for the track and all. Sorta adding the cutout where the fender is. Pretty cool idea

bump for update feedpipe pic's. The weather was good today so I finished the feedpipe and will start on the downpipe tomorrow. I gave up on the under the battery idea, the pipe with have been longer and with more bends to make it fit and the piping for the downpipe would have been very tight. Also the wastegate would have been tight and close to the ground.

The second half of this piping is less than 15inches long. I am going to do the waste last since I plan to run the exhaust back into the downpipe.

Pic's are all on the 1st page

Bump for 3inch downpipe pic's, I'll order a wastegate flange this week and run it into the downpipe. The I'm not going with the oval piping and will just tuck the piping very tight against the tranny.

Also I routed the downpipe so I can still access the tranny fill plug without removing it and highly suggest making your feed in two parts and making a connector pipe into your catback. With this pipe I have zero down time and still drive the car daily

I would have to guess around 3500 in fourth gear, I was told be a org member that has a 3.0 with a T70 turbo with a .68 exhaust that he hit about 5-6psi at around 4-42k and his setup is pretty similar to mine.

I am guessing with me having a 3.5 and smaller turbo I should spool faster than him

You might even see it spool sooner than that. Usually an extra .5L will spool the same turbo around 800rpms sooner. Seeing as you have a smaller turbo, you might be closer to 3000 than 3500.

It depends how loud you want it to vent, it will be quieter the farther away it is from the turbo, so after the intercooler will be quieter. If want to make sure they know who is boss then right after the turbo.

Yes, motor is bone stock. I do have a 7200rpm rev limit and will most likely never use it. I had a 7200rpm rev limit when n/a and the car fell flat on it's face after 6800, I had jwt retain this feature cause it should be a good selling point when I am ready to sell it.

pic added to the 1st page, I'll take a pic with it installed this weekend. To give you a idea it uses the 17mm tranny to bellhousing bolt near the crank sensor

If I do another 3.5, I'll use rod bolts, revup oil pump and cams then rev it out to 7200 just to see what happens on the dyno but for the street 6800

Bump new pics on the 1st page

Ok so the turbo piping is all done and installed. Got the wastegate this week and notched a piping and welded the flange on and made a open dump pipe.

I tee'd the sender and tapped a drain fitting for the oil pan and will run the oil feed and return line tomorrow. Now if my intercooler and piping get here which I though would be today I test everything and start searching for some injectors
