I didn't really keep track but the whole thing cost less than $2000. I already had the Emanage from when I was NA.

Your car is awesome man! I have a few questions.

Did you just get the OBX oil pan spacer for the 03 350z? They have the same pans as our engines right? I'm about to do a turbo and think it would be good to have the extra capacity.

Does the turbo add to the oil consumption problems of our engines or is it the same?

Did you extend rev limiter or just keep it stock?

Yup I got the OBX spacer for the 350z. It has two -8an fittings on it (with plugs). You have no idea how hard it was for me to figure out that fitting size .

The turbo did not change my oil consumption at all (about a quart every 1800 miles). It was a brand new turbo though.

And I am still running the stock rev limiter. It's actually lowered to 6500. I wanted an ignition cut rather than a fuel cut.

I dont think having your intercooler painted is a good idea, iv read some where the paint will actually not disperse cooling as well becuase of the paint coating vs all pure aluminum. BUT its just a theory :|

I actually seen painted intercoolers that were chipped. I want a black intercooler because I dont want people to see my intercooler so easily through the front. Actually there are black intercoolers that are sold that DO NOT chip. I asked my builder and her said they have done black intercoolers before and they do not inhibit or stop cooling whatsoever.

EDIT: Acutally I was doing a little more research and you can have the intercooler anodized black and it wont chip or corrode and actually will disperse heat better. Just have to find a place that anodizes material and you can get it done.
