is front arch wide enough for a 225 tire?

thinking of putting a 225/60-15 on my stock 15"x6.5" alloy rims. someone mentioned it might be too wide and rub on turns. does anyone run smth like that? or has any reason why i should go to 215 instead?
are the arches on 4th gen wide enough to accomodate it?

thanks

A few people proved that 9" are too wide for maximas. Also 225s are a tad too wide for stock rims that came with 205 tires...

I run 225/55/16's on stock '97 SE rims. No problems at all (but a tire calculator says it will throw my speedo off by 1.9%. But that is very acceptable to me).

- I have no problems w/ my 225's on stock 16'' SE wheels. They actually look better than 215" by a slight margin!!

- Handeling is not bad at all, however, I have H&R's and AGX's.
The wider, the better - if it fits correctly. Unless you live where it snows a lot, then you'll need some skinny tires.

- Feel free to look at my link. May not help a whole lot.

i heard someone on the .org a while back say that you can fit 245's in the front and as much as 265's in the back. . . true??? i don't know. I just remember reading that somewhere here and people agreed to it.
