Which Axis wheel should I buy?

I've been looking into buying a set of 19" wheels for my 2k2 and have finally narrowed my search down to 2 rims. They are both very opposite from each other since one is a deep dish and the other isn't. I love both the look of a 5-spoke and a deep dish but can't decide which one would look better on my pearl white max? Here's pics of the rims and what my car looks like:

19x8 Axis Hagen in hypersilver 35mm offset:

19x8 Axis Neo in silver 35mm offset:

Thanks for your input! I was leaning toward the Hagens since they would look larger than the Neo's would.

Hagens, but I don't think they come in 8.5" or 9".

Hagens DO come in 8.5"
And truthfully, I dont think they come in 8", only 19x8.5"

I've seen a Max on Hagens around where I live, and that's your best bet, damn guy, I wish I woulda got them first. Another Axis wheel that is nice looking IMO is the Axis Muse, but I think they may have been discountinued.

Are you sure about that? Hmm, I'll ask Axis if they do have a 8.5" Hagen since that would be a better match for my tires. Thanks again guys.

I'm pretty sure Hagens come in only 19x8. Yeah, we, 5th genners, hope that they'll come in 8.5" so that we can put 245/35/19 tires on them. I know all about it too much.

Would I still be able to use my 245 Hankook tires with the Hagen's then?

Hankook 245/35/19? Sure you could. Just that it will look a little bulky like some of us who put 235/45/17 in OEM 17" 5th gen wheels.

To be honest I've seen 235 tires on 17x7 wheels and they didnt look that much more bulkier than the 225's did. Thanks bud!

Axis hagens. The Neo's are great wheels but with the lip it makes it look small. The hagens only come in 19X8 I am using 235/35-19 nitto 555's I think you can use a 245. I am using a 215 for a snow tire on my stockies which usually run a 225. If you get the hagens watch out for look2me40 saying your copying him like he said to me. It's a free country and as long as where not in the same state who cares. Besides I been wanting to get these wheels since they first came out he just got them B4 me.

the axis hagens come in 19x8 and look best with the 245/35 tires and don't look bulky at all.

i will try a 255/35 tire for the rear this spring.

William, I'd go with the hypersilvers since they'll stand out much more.

I contacted SpyEngineering www.spyeng.com and they quoted me $1500 shipped to Canada which is pretty decent considering they ship by FedEx. There customer service is also very good and there a registered distributor for Axis.

It's $1899 because you're getting 225/35 tires which are too small for our application.
There price per rim is exactly the same compared to SpyEngineering but because I'm a Canuck shipping is a lot more. I'm going with SpyEng b/c there the only ones that will ship not by UPS which is good b/c I will save a lot in duties/taxes when they cross the border.

Thanks anyways for the help

Thanks for the link. They are much closer to me so I might be able to get an even better deal on them. Oh, did you have them shipped to your door or did you drive to NY to pick them up? Thanks,

Nathan

Hey Nathan,

Is $1500 shipped the final quote or do you have to add the customs crap/GST/blah blah blah? Does that sound something like $2200-2300 cdn? Just incase you haven't bought or committed to that deal yet, check out tiretrends.com , here is their price: $2235 shipped and taxes.

http://www.tiretrends.com/wheel_cata...p3?wheelID=347

I set up for an account with Axis too, but I have yet to receive my pricelists...
