It's a matter of personal preference. I like the Nitto NT-555s. If you are comparing the 450s to Falkens, they are similar.

I've put good 25000 miles on Nittos before I sold my car. Still had good amount of tread left.

false.

I put on 42K miles on my last set of NT555 Nittos. No abnormal tire wear at all. Best tires I've ever owned.

NT-555 are awesome. Too bad they suck in snow

At real low speeds I can hear mine (20 mph and below) but at highway speeds they are silent. I love my 555s.

For all-seasons, i'd say not the nittos (NT450). They were cool for the first 6 months, but after that they weren't so cool when it was wet outside. You've seen the guys on the highway doing 45 mph in the rain riding their brakes? That was me with the 450's. Not fun at all.

I have the NT-555's for the last year and I live in BK just like you. I've driven on them for about 18000 miles and I have no abnormal wear. They work great in the rain but they are horrible in the snow. Other than the snow they are excellent tires and I just ordered a set of 18" rims and I ordered another set of the NT-555's to go with them.

Falkens are better than Nittos on snow but not as good as Nittos on dry pavement.

Which would you get? Falken ZE-512 vs Nitto 450. If snow is not an issue. They will only be used in spring, summer, and fall. I have winter tires for the winter. Thanks.

Thanks guy's I did check Sears and they can get them at $ 128.99 a piece. Seems a little steep compared to $100 online.

Ask if they'll match the online price. Sears is funny about who they'll match and who they won't (pops got one sears to match on some michelins he bought, but i couldn't get another sears to match anything online). Going on a limb, I'd say check NTB too, since NTB and sears used to be the same company...NTB may not have changed their inventory to match their new parent yet.
