225/45/18: rubbing issues

heres the deal in the front i got 225/45/18 rear 245/45/18 and my car is dropped 1 1/2" front and 1 1/4" rear, my problem is that all four sides are rubbing against the fenders when ever i hit a bump on the road or if i corner hard, i want to have one tire size all around so what tire size would you recommend that wont be rubbing at all?

the tires you should have are 235/40-18

That size will be wider than the 225 up front, but narrower than the 245 in the rear. The 235/40 will be shorter than the 225/45 and 245/45. If you follow the Tire Size Calculator in the stickies, 235/40/18 (most likely) is the recommended tire size for your Max, and least likely to rub with a drop.

I've got 245/40 18's dropped on S.Techs and never had any rubbing issues! 235/40 was the recommended size but I went up one notch on the width! Good luck!

and the 245/45 is actually 16.25 mm more sidewall and 10mm more tread width than what most members recommend for 18's on a maxima.

you should be running 225/40/18, not 45 profile.
