Nokian Entyre recommendeds 38psi???
Hi All
I just had a set of Nokian Entyres installed on my 2001 SE (225/50/17).
I thought the tires were riding harsh (dealer messed up and had them from 34-37), so I contacted Nokian in Finland to inquire as to what they would recommend. The recommended psi under the armrest states 32psi front and back, so I was curious. Here was the answer:
"1-3 pers. 260 kPa / 260 kPa
Full. 260 kPa / 280 kPa"
260kPa?? That's 37.8psi!
Do these numbers make sense to anyone?

most passenger car tires are max 35psi or max 44psi, technically youre supposed to go by the psi indicated in your door jam/arm rest which in your case is 32psi. my own stuff i just run 40psi, to me 5psi isnt a huge deal

had 205/65/15 on my 3rd gen, have the same size on my Crown and i run them at 40psi. run 40psi on my Supra as well with 215/60/14, Silverado and Hilux i run 60psi but they have LT tires
even at work i set most passenger tires to 40psi for summer, winter you want a bit less and i go 32-35psi
