Please dont flame me. lol I know some people dont personally like them, some do. Im one of those people that like them. A lot of people were telling me about 2nd gens they've seen with louvers before. I for sure never remember seeing one growing up. My buddies said they know of a few running around in Brooklyn with louvers but cant point me to a direction.

So after about a year of searching online, gscars on here pointed me to where I could find a picture. They didnt have a brand name, or any information on it. Just a picture.

Now I know most OG members on here are gone. But does ANYONE have any information on these things? It would greatly help my search.

if 3rd gen ones would be similar, you can try to make one fit. however as far as i know you can only get them from New Zealand or Australia and shipping would probably kill lol

otherwise i dont even think theyre made anymore, i remember about a year or two ago companies started discontinuing the aftermarket ones in NZ

 

I don't think I've ever seen those before. I don't thing the 3rd gen will fit either as the rear window is not the same shape.

 

damn havent seen those before either, chances are you might not find it, ebay would be your friend in this matter....

I have a set of louvers off my 06 mustang, might be compatible.

 

good luck on that, it might be a one off custom, due to the corners on the back window I can't think of anything that will fit with out moding it

 

yeah thats the other thing you could try a early 90's Foxbody louver, someone said those might fit on older Maximas

 

measure the rear windshield, then you could see if any of the following cars have similar dimensions:

Those came on the car from Nissan. I knew a dude bought his two little brothers birthday presents. One was a white Saab 9000 Turbo and he had to add the lip (or Aero) kit and the louvers. However when he purchased the other brothers white Maxima it came full lip kit and white louvers. The only thing he had to add was the white BBS

 

Two ****ing years later. And I finally have proof! Solid ****ing proof! I was driving half asleep this morning and caught something at the corner of my eyes pass me. Had to chase him down to snap a pic and give him a thumbs up. What makes it even better, I was in my 2nd gen!

One thing you might want to try is old Car & Driver archives...if that's doable. I am not a fan of louvers, but it seems they were available for every car back in the mid to late 80s...
