The Nos was installed last weekend but monday was the first chance i had to test it out( my trans am got its new motor so I had to break it in first before I played). Well with the 75 shot i beat a 5.0 but got spanked by a Z-28. since the motor is rebuilt with strong parts I put in the 125 jets. Lemme tell ya anyone who spends $32,000 on a camaro SS and has a 4 door max keepin pace with them is gonna get pissed. At first he thought his car wasnt running right so he wanted to retune it for a rematch. I went home, put in the 200 jets (even though the motor is built up this isnt gonna be a common practice). needless to say when the tire smoke cleared (which there was alot) i had about a car length advantage on him. The guy in the camaro, which is an old freind from High School couldnt beleive he got beat by a 4-door...it was hilarious. Now he's gonna have his rich daddy put a supercharger on the car. The one problem I did encounter was with the rebuilt transmission, about 20 miles after the race it shifted a little sloppy but a rest over night seemed to stop that problem. The only other problem was the strings of rubber left under the wheelwells as my front passenger tire is pretty much gone now even with only 3,000 miles on it. Anyone have any ideas as far as traction is concerned. Now im just gonna keep the 75 shot in it to have fun and keep tires, unless i need the extra power
. but since my Trans am is done if i get beat with the 75 shot Ill just have to pull out the big gun (my TA) and embarass someone.

Hey man... if you got time to explain to me how you did it and about the costs... I'd love to possibly get one.
I just havn'et talked with much people that has one.
God i would die for a 75 shot of nos... hell a 50 shot would suit me!

its easy!!!
I got the NOS kit off my freinds 5.0 for $200. he used an aluminum pipe the same diameter as my throttle body to mount the jets. then he used some thick rubber piping to mount it between my air intake hose and the throttle body. I also used a holley electric pump solely to supply the NOS line, and used 1/2" braided steel tubing to run the fuel and nitrous line up to the motor. All together I spent
NOS system from a 5.0= 200, holley "blue" electric pump= 110, various fittings/hoses/clamps=100, and 38 to fill up the bottle.
