Bodykit and Resonator....

First: I got my Wingswest front lip today. I would like to know how to put it on. Can someone give me some detail instructions. It did not come with any screws, attachment equipment nor instructions.
And should I put it on then get it painted or get it painted and then put it on?

Second: I need to find a 3 inch diameter universal resonator either 12 or 16 inches long. Local muffler shops here do not carry them. Can someone tell me where online I can purchase one.

Appreciate it.

look for a resonator on Jegs.com they sould have it...and you might just have to get a glass pack resonator if anything.

Nope..jegs does not have it..

I did a search for resonator, search their exhaust items, and did a search for glass pack. No universal resonators. Why are these so hard to find online?

Don't get a resonator!! I had one and it quiets your exhaust sooo much!! I had a local muffler shop install my exhaust and they told me about the resonator and I was like, " CHOP IT OFF!!!" lol. If you take your resonator off, it sounds so much louder!! But, if your looking for a good, but, not too loud tone, then, stick w/ the resonator!!

I've got a Cattman SS Y, RT Cat, and custom SS cat-back without a resonator, and a straight through muffler. It is mildly loud. It has a nice deep sound though. I personally like it. Many people comment that they expected a Honduh ricey sound from it but they say that it really sounds good. It's your choice but you should know it isn't like crazy loud. Crazy loud is when my stock exhaust broke completely just aft of the cat! Now that was LOUD!

Believe me..

I need a resonator. My duals are making me go deaf slowly. It's a little better with the silencers on the mufflers but you can hear me miles away coming without them on and I set alarms off trying to find parking in lots.

Thanks Da-Max for the product code. Will order it soon. Did not realize it was under the muffler section.

Also anyone have any ideas how to install a wingswest front lip?

I'm glad to hear Jeff got it there okay. He had some trouble finding your place.
You should get the lip painted after you install it, IMO. It will make the paint matching easier. It depends greatly on who's painting it, though. Check with the shop and ask them what they would prefer.
To install it, you can rivet it if you have access to the tools and have the know-how. That is a great way to install it. If you can't do it that way, though, get some 1.5" long drywall screws and screw it on. Attach it at factory points around the wheel wells so that the screws don't show. You can also attach it up under the front where the fog lamps go. They won't show there either. You can get the screws for cheap at Home Depot. This is how I attached my kit, and it has been through hell and back since and is still in tact. When you paint it, if it's painted after the install, that will help the screws stay in tact and hide them well too. This is an easy D-I-Y way to do the install and it DOES work. My kit has stayed on fine. The only issue I had was getting the sides of the front to lay flush. If you rivet, that's not as much of an issue. Take your time...
Oh, and he didn't leave your rebate so I'm mailing it to you. Thanks, Huy
