Roadkill

I had the laugh of the century last night. Some dude in a new Monte Carlo starts talking trash to me. I believe he said, "You can't do nothin with this!" I told him, "Never underestimate a Maxima, bruh!" To make a long story short, When the light turned green, we left at the same time, but I wanted to severely humiliate him. At 3000 rpm, I punched it and all he saw was Maxine's rapidly shrinking taillights.
When I was turning, the guy caught up and blew past me (probably because he was feeling a tad salty since I ROASTED his new Monte Carlo with a '94 Maxima(The only performance mod I have is a K&N drop in air filter).

Me by a good 15-20 carlengths

Nope. I had to turn anyway so when he shot past me,
I was already in the turning lane.
What year Monte Carlo?
2000-2001

Yep. I didn't punch it until 3000 RPM, then left him.
From what I gathered, he had a 3800 V6. I knew for a fact that this particular V6 is strong on the bottom end but runs out of steam after a certain RPM.
