Cupholders!
I have a 1991 Maxima, and I wanna know...where are the cupholders!? There are 2 in the glove box but are only good if im parked...I keep hearin people talk about how they have some by their shifter...is this a custom thing?...i need some cupholders!

Unfortunately for you, the factory cupholders started in 1992. It was available only if you DID NOT have the Bose option as it took up the space under the stock radio. It wasn't much of a cupholder, though. It can hold one 12 oz can and one V8 juice can. That was about it.
What some folks do is to get a Saab 9000 cupholder that is also standard DIN size, but much better functionally (also can hold coins).

Funny, my 92 came with the Bose Cassette/AM/FM unit AND the cupholder try underneath it. I find that it is fairly useless for anything.
