Got a problem that is getting worse and worse. When I drive to and from work 20 mi each way or when I'm driving around town I notice that the engine wants to shut off when I'm at a red light or when I come to a complete stop. The tach does alot of fluttering around 300-500 rpm. I recently gave it a tune up but this is starting to get worse any ideas...

could be one of a millino things but im sure we can help just give a bit more info on year, motor, tranny, ect...

 

its a 1991 auto w/rebuilt tranny, vg motor.

 

If you dont mind, you might want to flush your tranny and change your filter... that is after you make sure the rest of the engines normal (ie not having 100,000 miles on your factory spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor.

 

Check the IAC and injectors
