Okay what you do is that you enter the WHOLE code after the "S". Most sights on here tell you only an X about of numbers......you find the code after the "S" which should be 7 number press the ....s button on the door and enter that code. then a beeping sound will come on and then you puyt in your code and wait for the beeping sound to come off. Doing this today after i get off here.

read your owners manual.

hit start, enter 7 digit number, it will beep continously, enter what you want with limits (you cant do 1,3,5,7 etc.) wait for the beep to stop at which point it will go beep, beep, beep etc. Then when you are ready to use your new code hit st first then hit the number (that will unlock the door) and hit wdw if you want the windows rolled down or trk if you want the trunk opened etc.

Then when you are finished hit lock to lock your doors (you do not need to enter your code to lock the doors).

I just bought my first car a week ago, a 92 Maxima and I love it!! When i bought it, The alarm would go off everytime i Opened the door and i would have to open the trunk to turn it off... So not knowing the code, i messed around with the key pad and I turned it off.. Now that i know the code, thanks to the many topics related to the keypad.. Does anyone know how to reset the alarm?? I dont have an owners manual cause i bought the car private party... Thanks in advance...

besides i took the keyless off my car before i even got it so i never had a need to learn what it did. but i may have some tricks up my sleve soon...........................

i looked quick so i didnt even notice it was ohio. to go somewhere and get it done would be 2-3k in labor, plus lights.
