since i've had my car, the abs light has always been on, and the abs has never worked, the engine also made clicking noises which i thought were the vtc's (i grounded them and it still made the noise). However, sometimes when i start the car now, the abs light never comes on and when it doesnt, the clicking is significantly quieter. there is a wire behind the back seat that looks as if some mice chewed it through, it looks like it might go to the abs sensor, but i dont know. does anyone know what the problem could be? thanks

 

next time the light is on, run the ABS diagnostics

thank you very much, came up left front sensor circuit, i'll try to take a look for any rust or other gunk in there tonight.
