have I lost some acceleration power?

Seems so. The top end is still good, but it seems as I have lost some of my acceleration power. Yes, I know it's a VG, so no "Get a VE" comments, but what's a good thing to upgrade for that? I'm guessing Y-Pipe and I already have a CAI.

VE swap I would think instead of modding to get your lowend, I'd try to find what caused the lowend to go away and then fix it. Then mod

With the comprehensive description you have given me: Look for anything related to:

1) Fuel system
2) Air system
3) Ignition system

The acceleration on my car is inconsistant. Some times when I punch it I go fast, other times the car will just creep, then all at once the RPMS wil jump to like 4000 and the car will fly, then other times I will have like no power and I just creep. I dont understand why the performance is inconsistant rather than just poor all tht time? recently did a full tune up and my timing was checked. I also have a rough idle, any ideas?

Your CAI may be to blame for a slight low end torque loss.

could be a ton of things. sometimes when i'm running low on gas the car accelerates badly. maybe you have inpurities in your fuel. have you ever changed the filter?

It's NOT the cai portion of the intake doing that.

the knock sensor on the VG, where exactly is it?? The autozone reapir manual says under exhaust manifold, mounted on block. Do you have to remove exhaust manifold to get to it?? and how do u test it?

Didn't you lose your lowend after the cai was installed for sometime? So I don't think it's cai related in your case.

To fix whatever was causing your lowend to suffer.

Look. It could be any one of 20 things. Until you give us a better description, refer to post #4. General question = general answer. I guess others can chime in to assist.
