You have a broken cv boot...You can replace the boot but IMO you will be better off replacing the whole axle...

Expect the necessity for a full front suspension rebuild round 150k

Otherwise you're gonna be floating like a boat.

You know its CV when it creaks when you romp it....

Most of the time the boot breaks open like his did way before the cv ever starts clicking....

The CV boot is broken. That will eventually allow the grease to get slung out and dirt/contamination in. If it's an out joint then it will begin to click when turning. An inner joint will begin to give a vibration. If you ignore either one for too long they can come apart and you will be stranded as well as potentially damaging other components. You're better off (and it's easier) replacing the whole axle assembly. You can get away with (and it's cheaper) replacing the boot, but you have to catch it early before you get clicking. If you decide to go with just the boot, you need to make sure you clean the joint thoroughly and pack it well with the fresh grease that is supplied. Also, some of the clamps than come with the boot kits take a special tool. It's a very nasty job and I just prefer to replace the assembly. Avoid the speedy boot kits, they are worthless. Good Luck!
