engine missing

the car feels like it is only running on 4 cyl. i called a friend at a shop and he said the wiring harness is a problem on these cars. so i think it could be in the injector wiring harness near the plug. or maybe one of the injectors. but im not sure. what is the best way to get the injector harness plug off of the the injector? the injector itself should ohm out from 10-14 right? gas is just too damn expensive to waste. HELP! please

i just found that if i wiggle the plug at the injector then it gets better or worse. has anyone changed the plugs that go to the injector? how far back should the wiring be replaced?

ok well i guess i will try and see if they will work, as i stated earlire thought the problem seems to be more with the wires in the harness than the injectors

the injector at the messed up plug also goes from 12-130 when i try to ohm it. it keeps changing. i am confused. would this be why the car seems to run on and then falls on its face at other times

it is all green on both sides of the connector. and where the wires go into the top of it. the problem is that the wires are loose going into the connector

the connector on the injector and the harness are both green?
you can TRY to scrape them clean with a metal dental pick, but if it's a bad as it sounds you'll probably need to replace both the injector and connector.
I'd personally also inspect ALL the injectors and their connectors

i took some electrical component cleaner and sprayed the connector and injector. used some little screw drivers to scrape it a little. then i split the cover on the wires and wrapped them seperatly and then together in electrical tape. its better, but i still think i need to replace the injector.

Did you grease the connectors using electrical grease? I've never heard of wiring harnesses being a problem on these cars though but I know the injectors are either a hit or a miss in most cases. DO NOT use injector cleaner these injectors seems to have some sort of allergy to them.

Sea foam may work if there's some gunk in there. Just add it in gradually unless you want to see what your car does when a fluid like this enters all at one time.
