Break In

A month ago I went to Hot Import Nights in Indianapolis, while there I signed up at the carsponsorships.com booth, out of shi*s and giggles. So they call me and say they have 16 companies wanting to sponsor me. So I decide to go to a friend of mines house and have him do a couple of vinyl stickers for me (part of the contract with the companies). Everything is all and well and I decide to stay the night there. Wednesday evening around 7 p.m. my friends neighbor comes walking over and says "Is that your white car in back?" and my friend tells her it's mine. Then she has the nerve to say "did you know it was broken into around 6:30 this morning?" So immediately I run to the back yard and sure enough. My passenger side front window is shattered and laying in the seat. They went through the glove box, console, everything. They made off with like 20 burnt cd's, and managed to get my wallet out of the glove box, containing my license, credit card, and about $200 in cash. I meant to go out and get all of that, but fell asleep before realizing I hadn't got it.

Whoever done this rode a bicycle there, it was laying beside the car. They left the doors open the whole time, but didn't run down my optima. So just to be the smartass I am, I took their bike into my friends garage, took pictures of it, and now it's on the internet for sell. And luckily when they shattered the window with the screwdriver they cut the hell out of their selves, the screwdriver was left covered in blood, and there was blood all over some papers in the car. I hope the little bastard slit their wrist open when they done it.

Thankfully the alarm was going off, which I didn't hear at 6:30 a.m. so it scared them off before they could get the cd player out, but they did break the hell out of the trim around the radio.

That said..... I hate punk *** kids!

I know how you feel. I was invited to a friends house after we went to the local car "hangout" place but I decided to go home and sleep instead. I have 5% so it's hard to see backing into my driveway next to my parents cars so I parked it across the street, the next morning I come out and see that my passenger window is "down" or so I thought. I know I didn't leave it down. I see glass all over the place and my stereo face is pretty much destroyed. They didn't take any of my cds or anything. What pisses me off is they couldn't get it out (gotta love the iso-mount) so they decided to destroy it instead. Then I find out that my neighbor saw the whole thing and didn't do anything about it. He told me it was a tall skinny guy in a white late model Cougar. There just so happens to be a tall skinny guy a ways down the street with a white Cougar. I can't prove anything so I just throw stuff at it everytime I drive by it. It's somewhat satisfying...

Sucks guys. I'm dreading the day my car gets busted into. The punk kids in my area know my car has some pricey mods, they may just get tired of breaking light bulbs and start breaking into cars...

LOL so people just keep trying to pry out the stereos instead of using that screw driver to actually unscrew the 6 screws it takes to get it out, stupid punks.

Yeah, that's the beauty of the stereo mounting in these cars. Even if they did have a screwdriver alot of people change the screws to some weird size bolts, they'll never have the tools with them, and if they did they wouldn't have the time to find all the screws with the alarm blaring. I was able to fix my stereo and replace the window practicly free so I was only out a half hour of work. Still lame though...

Sorry to hear that.. But why not just call the cops and have them take samples of the blood to see if anything turns up.

cops: "no harm no foul"
you: "well it was still a crime, take some blood samples"
cops: "hahahahahaah, that **** cost money, and it would never hold up in court"
you: "god i hate you..."
