Today i was driving home, coming down.... and i pull up to the light on Route9 and i have my stereo blarin and this punk in a 2000 silver eclipse looks at me thinking im "all show" (which i am), anyways i dont make too much eye contact and i flip my shifter from comfort to power mode... the light turns green and we both have the same start off the front... not even 2 seconds later, accelerating to about 25mph i start pulling ahead, he being the puss just lets off the gas and goes 20mph and i finally hit the next redlight. he is too much of a girl to pull up back next to me for the light and he pulls behind me... anyways thats my story.... put 1more on the chalk boards for the VG maxima

HA HA thats sooo funny. You beat a dsm off the line, with a Maxima!
Tooooo funny.

Reminds me of when i smoked a 911S and the Diablo.

Dude, he did what i normally do, he lets you think you were racing, so that you think it was a race and you smoked his a,s,s.

You just werent worth the gas he would have used.

Ummm....

the GS isn't a match off the line for most Maxes...its only 140hp and even less torque, I kill the non-turbo and non-v6 DSMs all the time....whats not to believe??? now my friends boosted GS-T, thats another story...

hmm GS's arnt really much, and its not all that funny, I always take my friend`s Dodge Stealth TT, off the line really bad, but when we hit about 30 mph, he`s about 3 car lengths ahead of me, but max's have good off the line starts, but after that we are kinda slow

Oh, don't forget the overdrive. Always turn that off when you race! Just when I begin to think, again, that my '91 Maxima is pretty slow, power mode on and OD off to reassure myself! I still can't believe how much harder the car pulls with OD off. Does anyone know if turning OD off actually gains HP?? JK ;-)
