Go to store, buy philips head driver, soldering iron and some solder. Remove stereo, take head unit apart, resolder display joints and it might work again.

Or just buy a new stereo, you deserve it.

1. Remove Bose headunit and speakers
2. REPLACE all pieces of 14 year old stereo
3. DON'T CUT the antenna wire!!!!!!

Ok, less of a wise guy answer coming up....

I still stick behind 1 & 2, but there are pictures on my photobucket of how to remove a Bose system here.

some like the Bose, most hate it. For what you get, it's not worth the money to get replacement Bose parts. I personally liked it, what little bit i heard of it working, but you can get comparable quality for much cheaper, and better quality for as much, if not less.

Exactly. 14 years ago they were kick butt. After 14 years of abuse and 140 degree summer interior temps it's more like kicked IN the butt.

Much cheaper to replace then repair..... well unless you are still carrying around cassette tapes!
