cupholders

cupholders

can someone tell me where i can get some of the cupholders for my max? i want the set that fits in the space under my bose sound system. from what i heard they were an option on the car when it was newer and i coul dstill get a hold of the set somewhere. please help(my nuts get cold when i get fast food and have to carry my drink between my legs). thanx, aaron

I wouldn't get one if I didn't have it (I do). They're 2 different sized holes (so only 1 drink will fit) and the holder is very shallow, meaning one moderately fast corner and you can kiss your drink (and your temper) goodbye. It's kind of a joke among those owners who have it.

I would just get the kind that fits into your airvent or clips into the door window sill. I might get one of these 2 later on.

Start checking salvage yards

The cupholders were actually standard equipment from '92 unless there's a 2-DIN headunit in place.

It's not much, but it is better than nothing. It does the job if you drive normally. For me, it's also a good place to store Altoids.
