Eibachs installed

Before

After

I am not liking how it turned out. It sits 3/4" higher than it did before. It's still only the rear that installed so i expect it will sit higher when the front is completed. Hopefully it grows on me but right now i am not so sure

Thats pretty strange. You say it actually sits higher with the eibach's? Once the fronts and rears ard done it should sit just over an inch lower i believe the drop is 1.2 " all around.

It doesn't nearly look 3/4" higher to me? In fact it looks largely the same to me, but is hard to tell since it's not the same camera angle

Get James_EastTX to cut you out the quarter panels on his parts car. Then weld them into your car

I am hoping it will settle because the springs look to be in almost brand new shape. The springs I replaced were 2" drop and I really loved the way the car sat then. I l knew it would sit higher on the eibachs but not as high. The other factor also is the ST rear sway bar which I installed more than likely contributed to the height. I'll try and do the fronts this weekend and see how it turns out. In any case, I am way too deep into it to back out now especially since I've already offered the old springs to my buddy.

I wouldnt worry too much. Im sure once everything is installed and settled after a week or so of driving im sure it'll work out for the best without disapointment. The eibach's over your previous springs should only sit about 0.8" higher.

Tiniform, can you take a picture of the passenger side rear with the Eibach from the same angle as your "before" picture?

After pic from passenger side

This one illustrates how much higher it is compared to the front

It's amazing two people can look at the same thing and have completely different thoughts on it. Your car actually looks level to me now - as opposed to 3rd gens usually looking lower in the back with lowering springs (and even in stock form in a lot of cases).

I don't think the pics actually shows how much higher the back is. Now, it is quite possible the increase in height seems exaggerated because the front is so low, when the fronts are installed it may be more "pleasing" on the eye. I must say though, the rear feels a lot stiffer. It would be fun to drive if the roads here in Florida were more exciting.

get like 2 12" subs in a massive box and a few amps to run them...that'll fix it.

That will definitely help but the stereo doesn't go back in for a little while. I am going to have to grow to like it I guess.

That looks level, and is the same ride height as my 3rd gen with Eibach/Tokikos. The B&G springs I had before were about 1" lower, but a MUCH stiffer ride... to the point it was not that fun to drive.

Geordie, like most of the other upgrades, I was fortunate to have found the kit at a great price nib from a former org member.

Your front arches look higher than your rears on that pic. Is it just the angle of the camera?
